Job description

We are now searching for an experienced Senior Product Manager to manage new and existing products throughout the product life cycle from discovery to maintenance and to make sure products meet customer needs and expectations, as well as being competitive in the market and valuable for our shareholders.

Tasks

  • Product Strategy and Direction: Shaping the direction and goals for the set features and
    offerings in your portfolio that drive adoption and impact across the markets, and verticals we
    enter.
  •  Product Discovery: Lead the discovery process of which products/features to build based on
    customer-centric design and data-driven decision making (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Product Alignment: Manage and align stakeholder interests across the company, our
    partners and customers. Including providing updates on product progress, challenges, and
    successes. Be transparent about the product development process and manage expectations
    effectively.
  •  Product Innovation: Focus on rapid experimentation, testing and prototyping: In this role,
    your focus should be on fostering a culture of continuous improvement, embracing rapid
    prototyping, having a bias toward action, and ensuring frequent customer validation.
  • Product Development: Work tightly with researchers, designers, and developers on how to
    define product outcomes, design prototypes, jira stories, definitions of done etc. as well as
    being available for ad hoc discussions and reviews to deliver these products successfully to
    customers.
  •  Product Risk Management: Identify and address risks early in the product development
    process, including value risk (market demand), usability risk (user adoption), feasibility risk
    (technical capabilities), and business viability.
  • Product Compliance and Security: Ensuring the product complies with relevant laws,
    regulations, and security standards is crucial. This includes data privacy, security protocols,
    and industry-specific regulations.
  •  Product Launch & Marketing: Co-create a strong story, value proposition and marketing &
    sales material together with product marketing to launch the product to new and existing
    customers and generate ARR for boost.ai.
  •  Continuous Learning and Adaptation: The Conversational AI landscape is ever-evolving,
    thus, a Product Manager must continuously learn and adapt. This includes staying updated
    with new technologies, methodologies, and best practices in product management.
  • Leadership: Be able to motivate the Product team, other Product Managers, UX/UI Designers
    and drive prototype development.

Experience and competence required

  • Product Management Experience: 3+ Years experience in Product Management, Product Strategy or Product Design.
  • Industry Knowhow: 3+ Years experience in the Conversational AI or automation space.
  • Market Research Expertise: Understanding of various market research methodologies like conducting surveys, focus groups, and personal interviews to gather necessary data.
  • User Experience (UX) Understanding: Knowledge and experience in how users interact with a product and how to enhance their satisfaction and experiences.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the product category from a technical standpoint.
  • Market Trend Forecasting: Ability to predict future trends and user needs based on current market data and research findings.
  • Product Development: Experience with the product development process and how to effectively manage stakeholders and tasks to align with desired outcomes.
  • Competitor Analysis: Ability to identify and analyze competitor products and strategies for
    differentiation.
  • Business Acumen: Entrepreneurial spirit and grit to carry ideas from inception to monetization.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience in leading and managing product development projects, coordinating contributors, and delivering results on time.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication skills to effectively inspire sales, CS, partners, customers and the tech organization around the direction, choices and solutions we make.
