 Who you are?

At Stena Line, your personality is just as important as your skills.

If you:

  • have at least 1 year of work experience on passenger ferries/ships
  • have maritime education
  • have practical experience
  • like to work in a team
  • have a good command of English

 Then we are looking for someone like you!  

 Required certificates:


  • OOW Engineering (A/-III/I) CoC
  • UK CeC for Stena Hibernia and Isle of Man CeC for Stena Scotia which the company will apply for.
  • BST
  • AFF
  • Medical First Aid
  • Seafarers with Designated Security Duties and Security Awareness
  • Frontier Worker Permit 
  • Passport
  • Seaman’s Book
  • Medical

What do we offer?

  • employment based on a seafarer employment fixed term (voyage) contract on Stena Scotia and Stena Hibernia
  • tour of duty is 6 weeks on/off
  • work on passenger and car ferries on the routes of Heysham (UK) & Belfast (Northern Ireland)
