The relationship between our multiple disciplines is a driving force in all our work. We’re currently looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer to help shape our future.
About the Role
We are looking for a Naarm / Melbourne based Senior Interior Designer to join and help develop our growing Australasian team. The position will report to the Managing Director, Snøhetta Australasia. Your 10+ years of professional experience will be essential in leading interior design projects from start to finish—bringing ideas to life in public, cultural, and commercial spaces.
At Snøhetta, interior architecture is not an isolated discipline—it is deeply embedded in our design DNA. We believe in co-creating with clients, consultants, and craftspeople to ensure every space tells a story and adapts meaningfully to its context.
You'll join a bold, collaborative studio that thrives on fresh perspectives and cross-cultural creativity. At Snøhetta, we design with purpose—shaping spaces that resonate globally and locally—and we're excited to welcome someone who shares our passion for impactful, human-centered design.

- Develop and present compelling design concepts that reflect Snøhetta’s commitment to materiality, light, and spatial experience
- Collaborate with international Snøhetta studios and external partners to deliver integrated design solutions
- Source and specify FF&E and materials within the Australian market
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of shared knowledge and creativity
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit and Rhino, and demonstrate excellent communication and client-facing skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture is required, along with a self-motivated and adaptable approach to independent work.
